For this position there are actually a couple of projects that need to happen.

Here's how I am envisioning it, and there's a lot of room for discussion.

Throughout the US and internationally there are many women who have undergone some form or another of FGM. Some of them have immigrated to the US and are seeking asylum. These are aided by attorneys who sometimes will ask for expert witnesses to testify in court, etc.

What I would like have is some sort of form/DB that will keep track of people who register on it. In other words, people will come in and register at the site according to what services they need or can provide. And depending on which one they choose, then they will be directed to another page. So a woman who is seeking medical assistance for example can 1) register as needing help and 2) do a search for doctors around her area who are experienced with these issues. The same will go for an attorney looking for expert witnesses or someone who can provide them with the information they are looking for. People who register with the site can choose to have their information public or private. Private means that I (or someone else from the Project) will have to approve.

We may need two seperate Databases. One for providers, and one for victims (though I don't like that word).
